Stefanie is a moderator, journalist and economist. Working behind and in front the camera has been her job for over 15 years. She has been the host for different kinds of events with audiences ranging from 8-80.000 people. Originally from Hamburg, Stef has lived in various parts of the world and brings a wide range of expertise to the table. In 2017 Stefanie was chosen for the Fellowship in Global Journalism at the MUNK School of Global Affairs and Public Policy in Toronto. Since 2019 she is also the Digital Ambassador of the Excellence Management Cluster from Hamburg@work, a big IT association network.
Sabine Babiel is founder and CEO of SHAZAY, the German brand for innovative,
luxurious and diamond filtered hair cosmetics. She has studied successfully in
Germany and Japan. Before becoming self-employed, she worked at Japanese
and German companies, most recently in business development and as Head of
Sales for an international hair cosmetics brand.
Farhad Sarwari is the Managing Director and second-generation partner of Crevil. Farhad has been active as a Business Development Manager since 2009. He combines many years of expertise in new product development with his focus for new markets. New markets open new opportunities and advantages for us, but also challenges. It is up to us to illuminate these and develop new business models and ideas. With his knowledge he was able to inspire and win well-known customers from the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry for new products.
Since 2020, Nicole is heading the SkinCare Solutions Division at MedSkin Solutions Dr. Suwelack and is responsible for the global sales and marketing activities of the Division. After having joined the company back in 2004, she among others has held the position as Head of Customer Service and General Manager JAPAC. With a strong focus on the Asian markets, Nicole is a global skin care expert with almost 20 years of experience in the industry. Her expertise covers both the professional sector in beauty salons and skin clinics, as well as home use applications. Nicole holds a degree of Bonn University in Japanese studies, political science and economics.
The CEO of NEOVITA COSMETICS GmbH is an international certified cosmetic expert.
As Director Research and Development, he is responsible for product development and safety assessment of all NEOVITA products. He is an author of several publications especially about the efficacy of natural ingredients. Jürgen Singer is member of the German Society of Cosmetic Chemists and member of the board of the Association of Cosmetic Professionals VCP.

Uwe Broch has been working for CREDO for 6 years in the position of Director Sales. In addition to his responsibility for the worldwide distribution of CREDO products, he constantly provides input for the improvement and innovation of CREDO products. As an authorized signatory, he works very closely with the management in shaping marketing activities. He has a total of 15 years of experience in the sales of manicure and pedicure products in the various distribution channels of drugstores, supermarkets and hypermarkets, department stores, pharmacies and perfumeries as well as in online channels. Whenever possible, he rides his bike, also daily to the company, loves his family and enjoys his garden and sailing.
Sara officially joined the company in 2019 – but as with every family business, she really grew up around natural sponges preparing for the role! She took over the export side of the business, having spent more than eight years overseas in Australia and the UK herself. Being a passionate advocate for the underwater world, she holds a Divemaster certificate and often joins suppliers in their harvesting dives to ensure sustainable and eco-friendly practices.
Jette Zollmann is the managing director of Zollmann Stutenmilch GmbH. After studying agricultural sciences, she joined the family business together with her sisters. The development, production and marketing of mare's milk products are Jette Zollmann's areas of responsibility at Zollmann Stutenmilch GmbH. Sustainability, transparency and honesty are important to her.
Marc Collinet was born 1970 in Aachen, Germany. Marc started at Deutsche Bank group at an early age of 19. During his 20 years of service, Marc fulfilled different missions including international set-ups, and compensation strategy. Marc left Deutsche Bank in 2009 to start up his own business in the production and sales of an innovative hygiene product. He managed to develop the start-up corporation into an established provider of innovative hygiene products to German mass retail industry. His company has grown internationally since 2018. Additionally, Marc was on Germany’s “Shark Tank” in 2014 and won the competition. Marc has two lovely kids (14 and 11), is a coffee-lover, and is interested in politics and cultures.
Margarita Sidorova is the founder of the Canadian Cosmetic Cluster, which was founded in 2017. The Canadian Cosmetic Cluster has one simple goal with this cluster; to develop and support the Canadian Cosmetic Industry. The cluster involves the entire supply chain of the cosmetic industry from raw materials to the manufacturing of finished products. Outside the Cluster, Margarita has a passion for the cosmetics industry and a desire to create innovative cosmetic products. Margarita has expertise in cosmetic formulation and product development. In the past, she has presented at the SCC NY Technology Showcase, Cosmetic 360 Show in Paris and was a finalist for formulation in the Cosmetic 360 Awards in 2017. She studied Biological Sciences and Business Development at Thompsons Rivers University and Cosmetic Science at UKSCS.
Shortly after being called to the Bar in 1986, Darren served as Special Assistant to the National Minister of Health and Welfare. In 1988, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly in his home province of Manitoba, where he served for 14 years of which nine were in cabinet. His ministerial responsibilities over this period included Minister of Labour, Minister of Northern Affairs, Minister of Energy and Mines, Minister of Health, Minister of Highways and Transportation, and Government House Leader. As Health Minister, he was responsible for the regionalization of the provinces health care delivery system. In 2002 Darren joined the management team of Canadian Blood Services where he played an important role in the re-building of the Canadian blood system. After spending a short period in the pharma industry, Darren joined the personal care products industry in early 2007 as President and CEO Cosmetics Alliance Canada. He has played a leading role in the development of the Association’s capacity to address the emerging issues facing the industry as well as in the advancement of international regulatory alignment. In addition to his degree in law, Darren also holds a Bachelor’s degree in history and economics and is an avid amateur historian.
Kelly A. Dobos is a cosmetic chemist with 20 years of expertise in both skin care and color cosmetic formulation. She graduated from Oberlin College with a Bachelor's degree in chemistry and obtained a Master of Science in pharmaceutical sciences with an emphasis in cosmetic science from the James L Winkle College of Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati. She is a recent recipient of their GOLD (Graduate of the Last Decade) Distinguished Alumni Award. Kelly is a longstanding member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists in North America, having served as the Society's President in 2019 and created the Florence E. Wall Award for Women in Cosmetic Science. Kelly has authored numerous technical articles for Cosmetics and Toiletries and serves as a subject matter expert for publications like Allure and New Beauty magazines in addition to news organizations like NPR and The Washington Post.

Cheekbone Beauty is a digitally native direct to consumer brand that is helping Indigenous youth see themselves in a beauty brand while using the concept of Life Cycle Thinking (LCT) in the brands ethos and in developing products. Cheekbone Beauty’s mission is to help every Indigenous youth see and feel their enormous value in the world while creating sustainable colour cosmetics. In addition to Cheekbone’s mission, she strives to educate as many people as possible about the Residential School System and the effects it has had on my family and friends through decades of generational trauma. She speaks regularly to university, college and high school students about social entrepreneurship, empathy and the history of her First Nations family. She has also been invited to speak to various entrepreneur groups including women in business associations, Apple Canada and First Nations organizations.

The industry with approximately 500,000 associated jobs had a national sales value of more than 19 billion EUR in the past year. The IKW member companies cover about 95 percent of the German market.
